Though we were both pursuing God, we started our relationship like many others— without fully understanding His beautiful design for relationships. But after repenting and walking in purity for nearly a year while dating, we entered into marriage with grateful hearts and BIG dreams.

What we didn’t expect was how much we would trigger each other’s unhealed wounds— patterns from our upbringing that made unity and true connection far more challenging than we imagined. Despite loving God and each other, we found ourselves caught in cycles of miscommunication, frustration, and emotional disconnection.

Instead of settling for survival, we embarked on a journey of intentional healing, growth, and alignment with God’s design for marriage. We learned how to overcome emotional triggers, strengthen our communication, and create a marriage that didn’t just "last"— but thrived.

Now, nearly six years into marriage, with a beautiful daughter and a heart for seeing others experience the same transformation, we’ve helped thousands of men and women worldwide through our podcast, Thriving Kingdom Marriage, and have walked closely with couples through coaching to restore unity, intimacy, and purpose in their marriages.
